After looking around here and there regarding farming the UW, I just can´t decide which is the best profession/build for farming it.

I´m thinking of creating a charracter just for farming UW, but I need to know from you guys and hear your suggestions of which charracter +build is best for farming UW. NM or HM doesn´t matter to me because the goal is ectos.

I'd wait untill the PvE skill balance to make a "onlyUWfarm" char
since what Anet's been saying for along time now; SF& 600/smite will be nerfed

You will notice alot of UW builds in there. Dervish and Warrior seem to be best for solo farming, but as the previous poster mentioned, maybe you should wait till the skill update, as I would recommend monk, but 600 might get hit.

People talk about "solo" farming UW alot. Does this mean that certain builds can solo all of UW and all the quests? or are they just referring to certain areas for drops only. It seems to me it would be difficult to complete some of the quests solo. (servants of Grenth, four horseman come to mind). Thanks guys, I'm rather new to UW myself.

If so, what do you think is the minimum party size to complete ALL quests?

When people solo UW, they are farming certain areas to gain ectos. Each profession that is used has there own special area where they excell. If you are going to go as a monk, you aren't really soloing, as you rely on a partner then. To complete all UW quests, you pretty much need a full party.

Forget Warrior or Dervish Builds for farming UW they are limited at best to specific areas, if you create a decent Rit, you can practically clear UW, not quests for obvious reasons, except (clear the chamber). Just sort yourself the basic spirit spam build, using Rit for this is much better, as spirits are stronger and do more damage. Good luck.

It used to be possible to complete all 10 quests solo, however not any more. Now you can complete all the 10 quests with two people (duo UW), however to do dhuum you will need a 3rd.
